Our mission
Established in 2008, Mean Records is a premiere Mississippi-based music label focused on helping artists establish their place in the music industry. We are committed to bringing talented musicians the exposure they always deserved, pushing boundaries, and expanding their reach.
We represent a variety of genres: Jazz, Gospel, Pop, Hip Hop, Reggae, Neo-Soul, Soul, and R&B, among many others. Under our representation, we guide artists through the recording, publishing, and promotional processes. We cover licensing, reaching music outlets, creating album covers, marketing, photography, manufacturing, and much more.
